I've never read erotica...until now!
Do you want to know something funny? I've been a sex educator for 15 years but I've only recently read adult fantasy with erotica in it. I'd always thought that I didn't want to read about sex in my downtime after talking to people about sex all day.
Most of my bookshelves are non-fiction but last summer I was headed to the beach and decided to go the route of escapism. I asked Margaret (yes this Margaret) for some recommendations as she is far more well read than I. She plopped a HUGE red book on my porch and I packed it up, skeptical but really wanting to experience a "fun beach read."
I don't think I even saw the waves. The big red book was A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas and I was HOOKED. I know, I know. I'm late to the game, but AT LEAST I CAME! (wink) I've since finished the series and I have a whole new appreciation for romantic fantasy and the creative writing involved in erotic sex scenes. Especially good ones. And Maas has some GOOD ONES.
So I'm an literotica newbie but also a sex expert and I HAVE SOME THINGS TO TALK ABOUT. I want to get together with you and have a real chat about this stuff. I want to discuss what you like, what you don't like and most importantly I want to talk about how to bring the sexy scenes from your page to your pants!
