Take sex seriously BUT...

I worked as a server at Chilis in college, and honestly I learned just as much shaking that margarita ALL THE WAY TO THE TABLE as I did in a college classroom.

One quote in particular still sticks with me.  One manager consistently told us, "Take your job seriously, but not yourself."

The more you think about it, the better it gets.  I've applied it to many parts of my life, starting with jobs, but really it eeks into other parts of your life, like sex. I genuinely want you to take your sex life seriously, but not yourself.  This allows us to plan, explore, learn and grow into our most authentic sexual selves while also allowing ourselves to feel awkward, weird or like a total beginner.  Because that is okay! You don’t have to take yourself seriously! It can be imperfect and hilarious!

This week, how can you take your sex life more seriously and yourself less seriously?

Here's a picture of me about the time I served at Chilis holding some meatless Boca (mouth) Sausages.   This picture alone should have alerted somebody that I would grow up to teach blow job classes on the internet.

Rooting for you,

Celeste
