Meet Dr. Shalah Watkins-Bailey!
Shalah and I went to grad school together and because she was ahead of me in the process, was a mentor to me as I slowly chipped away at my Ph.D. She has always made me laugh with her snarky quips. One time, when we were in our office as graduate assistant teachers, she turned around and said, "Celeste, it's official." I leaned in expectantly. "I'm one crunch away from perfection." I died. Her dream back then was to eventually start a body positive line of workout wear, and guess what?!? She did it! So I'm just so thrilled to highlight her business in this week's spotlight.
