Arousal follows intention.

So what if you carve out some space for intentional sex, but you aren’t feeling aroused?

 Just begin.

Make out.  Get naked. Lay in bed.  Do something to signal to your body that you are wanting to get aroused.

Don’t wait for arousal to show up before you start anything sexual.

But Celeste, what if I start making out and my arousal STILL doesn’t show up?

Then you make the decision to sexually pivot.  You can pivot to another time, day or a type of sexual activity that does feel available to your body. (For example, penetrative sex might not feel available to you, but maybe mutual masturbation would be available to you.)

So, set some time to see if arousal shows up, start something sexy, and then sexually pivot if you need to!

With Pleasure,

Celeste
