Want more pleasure?

Last week we talked about a pleasure awareness practice.  I'd love to know what you noticed!  What small or big pleasurable people, experiences or things were you a witness to?  I hope your days were full of contentment, satisfaction and fun...but if not, let's talk about it.

 

Why do you think pleasure is elusive?  Specifically, why do you think pleasure is elusive for YOU? After talking to many people about their sex life for the last 13 years, I have noticed a few data points here.  Many women I speak to who are driven, purpose-filled and intelligent also struggle with presence and pleasure. I've noticed a correlation between women who have their life planned and put-together ALSO experience low libido and lack of orgasm.  I can't ignore this interesting pattern.

Do you relate to this?  Is true pleasure, inside and outside of the bedroom elusive to you?

1. You are worthy of pleasure.  It is not frivolous.

2. You can experience more contentment, satisfaction and pleasure in your sex life.

Okay I now realize I do this every year, but of course we will be so excited to spotlight @MariahCarey this week.  For the last 30 years, she has brought me so much joy.  And her version of "Oh Holy Night" brings me to my knees every Christmas.  So do yourself a favor and just go ahead and get festive with Mariah today.  You know you can't help but smile when you hear those first few bells of "All I Want for Christmas..."  :)
