Here's the push you might need to make sex better

When I ask clients why they decided now was the right time to get a sexual health consult, they tell me they have been thinking about it for months...and many say they have been thinking about it for years. YEARS! And you know what? I understand. I really do! Sex is hard to talk about. Sometimes you need a lot of processing time to do something vulnerable like to talk a sex educator about your making sex better. AND THAT IS JUST FINE!

Listen, I'm a slow processor too, and it takes me a whole long minute to make decisions. I work hard not to shame myself for this. My friend Erin says I'm "strategic" - but most of the time I still just think I'm slow.
