The 3 Best Things About June!

LOGO CELESTE.png

Pals, we are barreling head first into my FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR!  June is, by far, the best month.  Please find my skeleton on this hill.  Here are my top three reasons I love June.

Geminis, mount up!

FIRST

Your gal turns 40 on the 21st.  There are two full moons this Gemini season and I have zero chill. I love my birthday a lot and you should love my birthday too.  Feel free to make a big deal about it. You know how to find me.

SECOND

PRIDE.

THIRD

The start of post vax summer starts NOW.  I'm not saying we need to be out there having pleasurable, vulnerable sex, being are most authentic selves and living in beautiful harmony with our most supportive community. Nevermind.  That's exactly what I'm saying.

If you need a kickstart with your pleasure, let's chat. My schedule is a bit limited this summer because I spend some extra time outside doing ridiculous stuff with my kiddos. (Like playing in our new backyard Festival Tent!)

But I'd be delighted to talk with you about how to move from sex as an obligation to sex as liberation.

Now, doesn't that sound nice?

Join me in June to kick off your sexiest summer yet.

Love

Celeste

P.S.

Y'all HAD SOME FEELINGS about how I load the dishwasher in last week's newsletter.  Who knew that dishwasher loading would be the most controversial topic this sex educator would write about!  Y'all crack me up.

SPOTLIGHT

This week, in honor of PRIDE month,  I want to amplify the life and work of Marsha P. Johnson.  Johnson was a founding member of the Gay Liberation Front and a beautiful advocate of gay rights.  She is one of the leaders of the Stonewall Inn uprising, a violent protest advocating for the LGBTQ community in Greenwich Village in response to an early morning police raid on June 28, 1969.  This later became the catalyst for why we celebrate PRIDE in June.  Many people know Johnson for Stonewall, but did you also know that she modeled for Andy Warhol? And when asked about her gender, she said the "P" in her middle name stood for, "pay it no mind."  Her drag style was relaxed and flowing and she was known for her flower crowns and her fierce activism.  As part of your personal growth and expansion this week,  learn more about Marsha P. Johnson here in this documentary, where you can see one of the only interviews she conducted.
