I Have a Bad Sense of Smell...
Which results in me being terrified that I smell bad and don't know it. So I put on body spray or perfume and 4 times too much deodorant...only to have anxiety that I put on too much and will give everyone around me a fragrance headache. But, when I'm alone, I love scented candles and "I smell you washing your hands in the other room" strength hand soap.
I didn't always know I had a bad sense of smell. I've learned this about myself over time. Other things I've learned or are continuing to learn are:
What types of movement I do and do not like (Running = yes. Road biking = no.)
What I like to do on vacation (Answer: Not sleep in a tent.)
What I like sexually and what I don't like.
I've learned much of this because I found safe spaces to ask questions. Sometimes that is by myself, deep in a book. Other times it is with other people, safe friends. And sometimes it is with experts, - or what call people who are farther down the path than I am.
When it comes down to understanding our sexuality better, it can only happen through the curious and thoughtful asking of questions. My mission in my work is to provide that safe space for people to ask difficult sex questions.
If you are in the process of exploring your feelings about sex, your frustrations with sex or your confusions about sex, consider this your personal invite to a sacred, safe place to ask your questions. Join us for our first ever Let's Talk About Sex Masterclass this upcoming Wednesday.
I hope that you can trust me and Kat to guide you through your hardest questions. I hope that after this masterclass, you will not only know more about sex, but you will know more about yourself. And there is nothing more liberating than that.
You ready?
I love you!
