Your Valentine's Day Playbook
This year, why don't you lean-in a bit more to the idea of Valentine's Day and the celebration of love? I used to be a V-Day hater, but the older I got, the more I embrace the idea of celebrating romantic love. Soul Nate's birthday is actually on Valentine's Day, so we typically are out celebrating him, but he also gets me a card every year, even when I tell him he doesn't have to. You know why? Because it's a fun, easy way to tell me he loves me. The end. Nothing more, nothing less.
Why don't you lean into Valentine's Day this year? Go ahead and get the card, the flowers or the singing pajamagram! (Bonus points if you send them to their work!)
Maybe I'm just getting sappy in my old age, but I really do think it's worth the time and effort. Be a little cheesy and extra. Here's your permission slip.
